Why ICS exists

Complex faults rarely respect trade boundaries.

Fire detection, aircraft warning lighting, controls, electrical supplies, networks and mechanical plant often rely on connected equipment and dependable power. A failure in one part of the system may only become visible somewhere else.

ICS follows the operating sequence, checks the relevant interfaces and tests the likely causes. The result is a clear account of what was inspected, what was found and what needs to happen next.

This work complements routine maintenance. It provides additional technical support when a fault is difficult, recurring, safety critical or still unresolved.

Technical findings should come from inspection and testing, not from a preference to sell a particular product.

Reports state what is known, what still needs checking and what work is required next. Where an issue falls outside the agreed scope, that boundary should be clear too.
